1. Can remember "Roys Tackle Shop"
2. Have seen Salcombe Chandlers (now Crew) selling "rope and shackles"
3. Remember "Hoshi" and "Provident" sailing in and out of Salcombe
4. Remember there being 3 Churches in Salcombe
5. You have been thrown out of the Ferry for underage drinking by "Bob"
6. Have filled up on freshly baked pasties and pizza at the bakery after midnight.
7. You can remember "Paddy" propping up the bar in the KA after consuming his daily bottle of Woods Navy Rum.
8. Remember everyone wearing "Jersey/Norwegian Sweaters" which were the 80's equivalent of the "Quba Jacket"
9. Can remember being able to afford to one day buy a house.
10. You have worked behind the bar in the Yacht Club or washing up in the KA.

Went to primary school in Courtenay Street
Do you remember the parrot in a cage outside a house called Frobisher's rest , small shop at the end of Island Street that sold buckets and spades and the ships figurehead that was on a house a bit further along.
Eh you were lucky remembering all this. I lived in t'matchbox, under the cat's bed, and my 7 siblings shared shoebox in t,shed with the family tortoise. We got by on 3p a week, and t'clod winters were reet bitter.
