Why the straw poll on second home owners paying double council tax - this has not yet been mooted by anyone at SHDC??
If they do double the Council Tax whats to stop you declaring your holiday home as you main residence.
or
If you rent it out change over to Uniform Business Rates.
At the end of the day if you are paying 90% and only using 10% the Councils are far better off than if we were paying 100% and using 100%.
The greedy moaners will have have to find some other mugs to fleece as they would only waste the excess on housing a scrounging druggie from an inner city ghetto who's trying to find themselves at our expense!!
