Great article

Thats one drug dealer down..............What about all the other saddoes mooching in and around the Fortescue and all the other pubs dealing their rubbish in Salcombe.

Everybody knows who they are apart from the Police.......!

Thieves and drug dealers should get the death sentence for how they ruin other peoples lives.

Dont let these vermin ruin such a nice fishing town!

I come down to Salcombe on Holiday throughout the year and all I can say is that unfortunately, the mentioned Harrington will no doubt be back selling using the many dropouts who end up in Salcombe without a job to do the dirty work.

Salcombe does not need these type of individuals.

Well Done to the Police Force

In response to the first anonymous reply, may I say that Tim & I are TOTALLY anti-drugs and take a very firm stance on anyone suspected of using or dealing in our pub. We have CCTV covering spots where any drug use etc may potentially happen, and our toilets are checked half hourly at busy times to ensure we spot any potential drug issues. We would ALWAYS ban the individual and then refer to Police anyone caught using or dealing in our pub.

My Nan had to take a couple of Asprins in your pub last August after over refreshing herself on a bottle of Blue Nun. Will she be banned?

As a long term Salcombe resident I have to say I am/was unaware that the town is a hotbed of drug dealing? If this is the case should we not all be more aware and let the police know about any suspicious activity immediately. The grief and damage drug addiction causes users, fuelled by dealers is tragic.

Its even worse in the pubs in Kingsbridge.

The toilets were being used on the Quay until they put some fancy lights in which stopped the low-lifes finding their veins!

Let them rot in their own mess!

Kingsbridge and Salcombe need to have a massive drugs bust!

Dear Anonymous - Saturday 26th comment - If your Nan got merry on Blue Nun in our pub she'd have been very unfortunate........... ghastly stuff and not stocked by us (thankfully!!)

Yours smiling
